In our Intensive Olfactory Capture Workshop, you will be able to participate in the creative process that makes us unique as a niche perfumery brand and understand some fundamental ideas of artisanal perfumery. In this intense day with us, you will collect aromatic plants in their natural habitat and learn about their properties. You will practice some of the manual techniques for extracting essential oils and hydrolates, such as steam distillation or the production of tinctures. And with all this, after a delicious meal, you will create the olfactory capture that will enclose the aroma of the landscape and your lived experience in a bottle. It is not a typical natural perfumery workshop, but a unique opportunity to enter the olfactory universe of Bravanariz and learn, from within, the philosophy and methods that have made it one of the most disruptive and original brands on the international scene.

What does the reservation include?

Meeting point:
We will meet directly at Mas Flaquer, a beautiful farmhouse in the middle of the Serra de la Albera (Cantallops, Alt Empordà). You will receive the location when you sign up for the experience. If you need us to pick you up from the station in Figueras, we can organize a trip* during the morning so that you can arrive without problems. The same for dropping you off at the end of the course.

When we start:
We will meet on Saturday 15th February from 9:30am. The workshop will end at 6:30pm. If you want to extend your stay, either at the beginning or at the end, we will be happy to do so, as long as there are places available. Please note that the kitchen service is only available during the day of the experience. Outside of that day you can cook for yourself. Ask us about this at info@bravanariz.com
What you need:
A lot of curiosity and a good spirit. We will provide everything else (pruning shears, baskets, gloves, laboratory equipment, various materials, food, drink, books, inspirational ideas…). However, a hat, comfortable shoes and warm clothes (just in case) would not be amiss. A field notebook or personal notes are usually very useful.
