In Drawing from life, Bruna will teach us how drawing can be a powerful way of approaching and an unbeatable vehicle to connect with the nature that surrounds us. Because drawing is a way of looking, or rather, of contemplating (which is not the same thing). This “diverse” attention to the over-saturated sense of sight will be compensated by the stimulation of all the other senses, and especially, of smell as a door to a new universe of perceptions. Can you draw a scent? After this workshop-retreat you will no longer walk through nature in the same way.

-2 nights accommodation in shared rooms (from Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon) in case you take the accommodation option.

Meeting point:
We will meet directly at Mas Flaquer, a beautiful Masia in the middle of the Albera Natural Park. You will receive the location when you sign up for the experience. If you need us to pick you up from the station in Figueras*, we will organize various trips during the afternoon of the 30th so that you can arrive without problems. The same to leave you at the end of the course.

When we start: We will meet on Friday May, 30, starting at 4 p.m. The workshop will end on Sunday, June,1, after lunch.
What you need:
Lots of curiosity and good spirits. As for materials, bring whatever you feel most comfortable with. We suggest: watercolors, gouache, colored pencils, crayons, graphite pencils. + folder/wooden stand. Headphones + mobile phone. Camera (if you have one – optional – a mobile phone would work). For the rest, we provide everything (pruning shears, baskets, gloves, materials, beekeeper’s suit, laboratory equipment, food, drinks, books, inspiring ideas…). Of course, a notebook, a pen and a magnifying glass wouldn’t hurt.
